The Mente project was a design-assist aviation facility consisting of 702,000 sq. ft. of steel-framed area. SunSteel, LLC provided a 526 ton structural steel package and an open-web-joists package of 386 tons. Additional packages included metal decking and stairs. SunSteel recommended the redesign of the structure’s roof, greatly reducing the overall project cost.
